Vege Lovin’ Shopper - June 23

Our June vege shop came from Tai Ping Asian Supermarket in Albany, Auckland. We found plenty of winter vegetables for soups, stews and braises. As well as cabbage for stir-fries and slaw, a large half bunch of celery to dice with carrots and onions for a hearty osso bucco. The sweetness of braised leeks with pan-fried fish is also a favourite. A load of vege goodness for $19.35
