Chargrilling gives a lovely smokey flavour and works great in punchy, flavourful dishes like risotto, pasta and with roasted or grilled meats.
FOUR SIMPLE STEPS TO DELICIOUS!
- Trim the asparagus of any hard ends and cut to desired length.
- Toss the asparagus in a little olive oil and season.
- Preheat the BBQ, a grill pan or grill press and cook the asparagus for 3-4 minutes turning occasionally until coloured and tender.
- Add a squeeze of lemon to help them soften.
