Chargrilling gives a lovely smokey flavour and works great in punchy, flavourful dishes like risotto, pasta and with roasted or grilled meats.

FOUR SIMPLE STEPS TO DELICIOUS!

  1. Trim the asparagus of any hard ends and cut to desired length.
  2. Toss the asparagus in a  little olive oil and season.
  3. Preheat the BBQ, a grill pan or grill press and cook the asparagus for 3-4 minutes turning occasionally until coloured and tender.
  4. Add a squeeze of lemon to help them soften.
